BRUSSELS, Jan 23 – The European Union is celebrating progress in implementing the plan to introduce a tax on profits from frozen assets of the Russian Federation, Bloomberg reported on Tuesday, citing sources.
"The European Union is progressing with plans to apply a windfall tax to the profits generated by frozen Russian central bank assets, while opting not to seize the immobilized money outright," the agency informs.
