KYIV, Jan 19 – Operators of gas transmission systems of Ukraine, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and the Republic of Moldova during the high-level ministerial meeting of CESEC (The Central and South Eastern Europe Connectivity) in Athens signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the creation of the South- North (Vertical Corridor).
As the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported on Friday, within the framework of the Vertical Corridor, synergy between LNG terminals in Greece, the Trans-Balkan Pipeline, Ukrainian underground storage facilities and consumers in Central Europe will be created.
