KYIV, Jan 18 – According to the updated plan for the return of agricultural land to economic use, taking into account updated data from regional military administrations, 512,000 hectares of farmland are subject to priority inspection, clearance and demining in 2024, the press service of the Verkhovna Rada Office reported.
According to the report, priority return of land to economic exploitation will take place in eight regions. It is planned to survey and, if necessary, clean up and demining in Donetsk region – 12,800 hectares, Chernihiv region – 2,000 hectares, Sumy region – 85 hectares, Dnipropetrovsk region – 6,600 hectares, Kyiv region – 9,400 hectares, Mykolaiv region – 44,000 hectares, Kharkiv region – 190,000 hectares, Kherson region – 248,000 hectares.
