KYIV, Jan 10 – Lithuania will provide Ukraine with M577 armored vehicles in February, President of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda has said. He also announced the approval of a long-term military assistance package of EUR 200 million for Ukraine.
The State Defense Council of Lithuania approved the allocation of EUR 200 million in a long-term military assistance package for Ukraine. Lithuania will send to Ukraine another batch of ammunition, power generators, detonation systems in January. The country will also provide Ukraine with M577 armored vehicles and continue to train Ukrainian soldiers in February, he said at a joint press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Vilnius on Wednesday.
