KYIV, Dec 26 – In 2024, Energoatom will focus on the process of licensing tops for fuel assemblies from the U.S. company Westinghouse to establish their industrial production at its facilities along with bottom nozzles.
"Ukraine continues licensing to increase the industrial production of bottom nozzles implemented using Westinghouse technology. In 2024, a similar process is envisaged for tops of fuel assemblies," Energoatom President Petro Kotin, quoted by the company on its Telegram channel on Tuesday, said at a meeting with President and CEO of Westinghouse Electric Company Patrick Fragman.
