KIEV, Dec. 25 ??“ Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych, the most popular politician in Ukraine, slightly improved his rating over the past month, followed by opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko and President Viktor Yushchenko, opinion polls showed Monday.

Yanukovych would score 29.2% of the vote if the presidential election were held in December, up from 28.8% in November, FOM-Ukraine, a subsidiary of Russian think tank that, reported.
