KIEV, Dec. 22 - Ukraine??™s national oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrayiny commissioned 70 million euros worth facility Thursday to improve measurements of quality and quantity of natural gas transported from Russia to the European Union.

European Commission Energy Commissioner Andreas Piebalgs joined Ukrainian top energy officials in the opening ceremony in Boyarka, the Kiev region, underscoring the facility??™s importance for European gas supplies.
