BRUSSELS, Nov 14 – The European Commission announced the allocation of an additional EUR 110 million in humanitarian aid to Ukraine in light of the difficult situation caused by the war waged against the country by Russia.
The corresponding announcement was made on Tuesday in Brussels by the press service of the European Commission.
"As Russia's war against Ukraine continues, the humanitarian situation in the country remains dire. The onset of winter poses further challenges to the already vulnerable communities impacted by the war. The Commission is therefore allocating EUR 110 million in humanitarian aid of which EUR 100 million will go to operations in Ukraine and EUR 10 million to support Ukrainian refugees and host communities in Moldova," the EC said in the statement.
