KYIV, Nov 9 – The Swedish clothing chain H&M has resumed operations in Ukraine, opening two stores in Kyiv on Thursday – in Lavina Mall and Respublika Park, the retailer's press service told Interfax-Ukraine.
In the coming weeks the remaining stores in Kyiv will be reopened, in particular in River Mall, Retroville, SkyMall and Dream.
The press service also said that H&M continues to support Ukraine and local communities while the company reopens its stores. In addition to previous donations, H&M Group is now donating $2 million, which will be split evenly between UNHCR and Save the Children. These donations will support the project to provide shelter and housing for victims and will help strengthen the child protection system in Ukraine.
