KYIV, Nov 2 – Ukraine's state budget deficit in October 2023 reached UAH 98.4 billion, compared to UAH 87.0 billion in September and UAH 130.7 billion in August, the Ministry of Finance reported on its website on Thursday.

The general fund deficit grew to UAH 87.7 billion from UAH 85.6 billion in September, although this is much less than UAH 122.2 billion in August.

The Ministry of Finance, citing operational data from the State Treasury, indicated that cash expenditures of the state budget in October fell significantly – to UAH 292.1 billion after a jump to UAH 444.8 billion in September from UAH 310.1 billion in August.
