KYIV, Nov 1 – The US government, as part of Agriculture Resilience Initiative-Ukraine (AGRI-Ukraine), will provide 7,000 Ukrainian agricultural producers with free mineral fertilizers for the spring planting season in 2024, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine has reported.
According to the report, through the USAID's Agriculture Growing Rural Opportunities Activity (AGRO), 14,000 tons of fertilizers will be transferred to Ukrainian agricultural producers. Each participant will be able to receive up to 2 tons of mineral fertilizer (urea) per farm.
