KYIV, Nov 1 – The grain harvest in Ukraine in 2024 will be smaller, and all fields in the country will not be sown due to a reduction in production profitability, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Solsky said at a press lunch on Tuesday in Kyiv.
"I think that next year we will have a smaller harvest, since several factors coincided this year. Firstly, everyone, by inertia, sowed to the maximum from last year [production areas]. Secondly, there was the weather is almost perfect," the minister said.
