KYIV, Oct 30 - Marhanets Mining and Processing Plant (GOK, Dnipropetrovsk region) suspended the mining and processing of raw manganese ore in October of this year, including due to shelling.
According to the company's information, there are several reasons for the plant's shutdown. First, military aggression on the part of the Russian Federation - the actions of the occupiers led to the loss of water in the Kakhovka reservoir, which makes it impossible to replenish the technical reservoirs of water used for the enrichment of raw manganese. In addition, the main reasons for the shutdown include artillery shelling by the Russian army of objects and infrastructure at the industrial site of the plant.
