ZAGREB, Oct 20 – The Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) has been working in Ukraine for more than 10 years and is actively supporting it in creating a world-class mine action program under national leadership, the center's director Stefano Toscano said.
"The budget [of GICHD for Ukraine] is currently about CHF 1.5 million per year. We have been actively working in Ukraine for more than 10 years and I think we will increase our participation even more in the future," he told Interfax-Ukraine on the sidelines of the International Donors' Conference on Humanitarian Demining in Ukraine recently held in Zagreb.
