KYIV, Oct 18 – European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson announced the European Commission's grant contribution to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund in the amount of more than EUR 50 million, the Ministry of Energy reported.

The European Commissioner noted, as quoted in a Ministry of Energy release on Wednesday, that Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Haluschenko was with them (at the meeting of the EU-European Council of Energy Ministers), and she also expressed the EC's unwavering support for Ukraine on the eve of another difficult winter.
