KYIV, Oct 17 – The United States will allocate almost $700 million for the modernization of Ukrainian ports, railways and checkpoints, said Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction - Minister for Communities and Territories Development and Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov after a meeting with US Special Representative Penny Pritzker.

“We must modernize Ukrainian checkpoints, ports and railways. This will improve logistics and increase export capacity. The United States plans to provide almost $700 million for this,” he wrote on Facebook.
