KYIV, Oct 17 - Natural gas reserves in Ukraine’s gas storage facilities have reached 15.9 billion cubic meters, the Ministry of Energy reported.

“Due to the drop in air temperature, local governments are gradually starting the heating season. Sufficient resources have been accumulated to complete it - natural gas reserves in storage facilities amount to almost 15.9 billion cubic meters,” the Ministry of Energy said on Telegram.

They recalled that according to the government’s plans, by the start of the winter economic period the required volume should be 14.7 billion cubic meters of gas.
