ZAGREB, Oct 12 – Returning land to productive use, preventing accidents and protecting victims, as well as creating a better mine action architecture are the three main goals of the National Mine Action Strategy, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko has said.

"Our goal is to make sure that we can live again without the real risk of mine accidents, and that we don't have to wait 20 years to do that. Risk management is the key," she said as she unveiled the draft strategy at the High-Level International Donor Conference in Zagreb on Wednesday.
