KYIV, Oct 12 – Investments of the DTEK energy holding in coal mining by the end of the year are planned at UAH 7.4 billion, which is almost twice as high as last year – UAH 3.8 billion, DTEK CEO Maksym Timchenko said at a press conference in Kyiv.

He noted that as of October 1, the company's coal production amounted to 13.07 million tons, which is slightly more than in the same period last year.

“By the end of the year, we will reach production of more than 17 million tons, this is at the level of last year, but more than the estimates that we gave to the Ministry of Energy several months ago,” Timchenko continued.
