KIEV, Dec. 19 ??“ The Kiev City administration lost majority control over Khreshchatyk Bank after failing to come up with money to purchase the new share issue, shareholders said Tuesday.

The city??™s stake fell to 23.7% from 51.2% as the bank had increased the capital by 120% to 540 million hryvnias, Khreschatyk Bank Board Chairman Dmytro Hrydzhuk has told Interfax-Ukraine.
