KYIV, Oct 6 – Thanks to the work of a temporary corridor established by the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of the ports of Big Odesa, in September Ukrzaliznytsia increased the volume of grain exports to 1.075 million tons versus 800,000-880,000 tons in the period after the work stoppage of the grain corridor.
"In September, thanks to the partial unblocking of the temporary corridor, our load of grain for export increased. And we have already transported 1.075 million tons [of grain for export]. We are already unloading more than 300 wagons through the ports of Big Odesa. Along the Danube and Izmail – 170. That is, there is an increase," Valeriy Tkachev, deputy director of the department of commercial work at Ukrzaliznytsia, said at a meeting of the Exporters' Office.
