KIEV, Dec. 18 ??“ Antonov Corp., Ukraine??™s aircraft manufacturer, Aviastar, a Russian aircraft company, and Volga-Dnepr air carrier signed a memorandum of understanding to launch production of heavy air transport An-124-100 Ruslan.

The production of aircraft, the world??™s biggest plane ever mass produced with payload capacity of 150 metric tons, was discontinued shortly after the breakup of the former Soviet Union.
