KIEV, Dec. 19 ??“ Kyivstar GSM, Ukraine's largest mobile communications operator, expects to receive a license to provide 3G services in the UMTS standard in 2007, Kyivstar President Ihor Lytovchenko said Monday.

"Kyivstar will be ready to transfer to 3G in the first quarter of 2007. We will have only to pay for the license and make some changes to software," he said.
