KYIV, Sept 28 – Ukraine needs $43 billion in external financing from the state budget in 2024; attracting it will be more difficult than this year; the Ministry of Finance is doing everything possible to guarantee its receipt, Minister Serhiy Marchenko said on the national telethon on Thursday.
"There are fewer and fewer people willing to allocate funds. But this does not mean that there will be no funds, and this does not mean that we have stopped working. This year we are guaranteed to provide about $42 billion in external financing of the budget deficit. I hope, and we are doing everything possible to ensure that this is also guaranteed in 2024," he said.
