KYIV, Sept 26 – The vacancy level for warehouse real estate in the capital region has stabilized at 2% as of the end of June 2023, which corresponds to pre-war indicators, the press service of CBRE Ukraine told the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
“The warehouse market is gradually recovering, while sensitively responding to all changes associated with the war. What is important for the capital region is that, although some tenants have partially shifted their focus to safer western areas, Kyiv retains its position as the dominant logistics hub. Overall, the demand for warehouse space will remain stable until the end of 2023, as the main tenants will adapt their needs for premises to the current economic conditions,” said Natalya Sokyrko, head of the warehouse and logistics real estate department at CBRE Ukraine.
