KYIV, Sept 25 – The governments of Ukraine and the United States signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly ensure the sustainability of the Ukrainian energy system, the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine has reported.
The purpose of the memorandum is to collaborate towards the improvement of the resilience of Ukraine's energy system, including through the restoration of critical infrastructure, introduction of distributed generation, reformation of the energy sector, and facilitation of Ukraine's post-war transition to a low-carbon, competitive, and EU-integrated energy economy.
