KYIV, Sept 21 – A $1.25 billion grant from the United States arrived on Thursday in Ukraine's state budget through the World Bank's Multi-Donor Trust Fund, the Ministry of Finance said.

It clarified that the funds are part of the fifth additional financing under the Public Expenditures for Administrative Capacity Endurance (PEACE) Project.

Its goal is partial compensation of state budget expenses, including social and humanitarian expenses not related to the sphere of security and defense.
