KIEV, Dec. 18 - Ukraine??™s largest natural gas producer UkrGazVydobuvannya, or UGV, commissioned 65 new gas wells this year allowing the company to boost output by 300 million cubic meters in 2006, the company reported Monday.

UGV increased 20% investments in domestic gas extraction from the previous year seeking to reduce dependence on Russian natural gas imports following the disruption in gas supplies in January.
