KYIV, Sept 6 – According to preliminary data, Ukraine's international reserves amounted to $40.387 billion as of September 1, 2023, having decreased by $1.351 billion in August, the National Bank said on Wednesday.

"In August, the international reserves decreased by 3.2% on the back of the NBU's FX sales to cover the gap between supply and demand in the FX market of Ukraine, which were largely offset by inflows of international assistance," the central bank said.
