KIEV, Dec. 15 ??“ China's Huawei Technologies, one of the world's largest telecommunications equipment producers, earlier this year signed contacts with Ukrainian phone companies to supply equipment worth $80 million.

"The sum of contracts signed between Huawei and the Ukrainian operators in 2006 was $80 million," the head of the Huawei's representative office in Ukraine, Wang Chunsheng, said at a press conference Thursday.
