KYIV, Aug 18 – Ukrtransgaz, the operator of underground gas storage facilities in Ukraine, which has about 140 contracts with non-residents, expects them to intensify gas injection, taking into account favorable and comfortable conditions, CFO of the operator Yevhen Palenka has said.

"We have contracts with almost 140 traders, some of them actively use these contracts, some do not use them yet, but I think everything will depend on the commercial situation in the European and world markets, now there is an active download, and they are more comfortable," Palenka said in a commentary to Energy Eeform on the sidelines of the Ukrainian Gas Open 2023 forum organized by the Energy Club.
