KYIV, Aug 17 - Moldova has started active cooperation with Ukraine, Romania and donor organizations to modernize its railway infrastructure in order to help Ukraine increase agricultural exports to Moldova, the countries of the European Union, the Middle East and Africa, said Deputy Prime Minister of Moldova, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Nicu Popescu.
"From the first day of the full-scale invasion, we (Moldova) … have seen that exports and imports from Ukraine and to Ukraine are accelerating. We see that Ukraine is making great efforts on the battlefield. But it is also important for Ukraine to maintain its economic activity, its export potential," he said during the event on Ukraine's path to the EU in Kyiv.
