KYIV, Aug 17 – Ukrenergo resorted to emergency assistance from the power system of Romania in the amount of 1,200 MWh on August 16 at 19:00-22:00 in the conditions of summer record energy consumption.

"Ukrenergo received emergency assistance in Romania from 19:00 to 22:00 with a capacity of 400 MW every hour to ensure consumption. But emergency assistance is the last tool to overcome the shortage of power in the power system, the cost of such electricity is high," the company said on its Telegram channel on Thursday.
