KYIV, Aug 16 - The Velta group of companies with assets for the extraction of titanium-containing ores in Novomyrhorod (Kirovohrad region) left the founders of the National Association of Mining Industry of Ukraine and founded the Ukrainian Titanium Industry Association, whose main task will be to create a full cycle of processing titanium raw materials in Ukraine.

According to the company's information, the union was created to protect national interests and increase the level of defense capability.

"We have raw materials, innovative technologies, skilled workers - everything to produce our own metallic titanium not only for Ukraine, but for the whole world," the association's declaration says.
