KYIV, Aug 9 - Passage of the autumn-winter period of 2023/2024 will resemble the scenario of the last heating season, which took place in conditions of constant massive shelling of the energy system, says Oleksandr Kharchenko, director of the Energy Industry Research Center (EIR Center).

"The forthcoming heating season will take a closer to an unconventional form - our last heating season. Expectations, at least in the energy industry, are such that attacks on our energy system will resume in October-November: both on high-voltage networks and on generating capacities," he said at a briefing at the Media Center in Kyiv on Wednesday.
