KYIV, Aug 2 – The real growth of Ukraine's gross domestic product in 2023 may be up to 5%, but, given the existing risks, the Ministry of Economy still conservatively keeps the growth forecast at 2.8%, Director of the Department for Strategic Planning and Macroeconomic Forecasting of the Ministry of Economy Natalia Horshkova has said.
"In the working calculations that we have, we, like most of the experts who gave you forecasts, see an opportunity this year to achieve real growth of about 5%," she said at the discussion "The new macroeconomic forecast for Ukraine: unraveling the exchange rate, GDP, and inflation," organized by the Centre for Economic Strategy (CES).
