KYIV, July 31 – Ukraine from an agrarian country should turn into an arsenal of the free world, specializing in manufacturing high-quality weapons, Oleksandr Kamyshin, Minister for Strategic Industries has said.
"Indeed, before the big war, an idea was sold to Ukraine, and we perceived it quite well – the breadbaskets of Europe. We exported millions of tons of grain abroad. And the war showed that we could stop this export... And we have nothing to do with these huge volumes of grain grown in Ukraine. And Ukraine's concept as an arsenal of the free world, as a country that produces a sufficient amount, a sufficient range and high-quality weapons, seems to me much more correct for us as a goal," Kamyshin said during the national telethon on Friday.
