KYIV, July 27 - The National Bank of Ukraine raised the forecast for the growth of Ukraine's real gross domestic product in 2023 from 2% to 2.9%, but lowered it for 2024 from 4.3% to 3.5%, the central bank said on its website.
"The key risk for inflationary dynamics and economic development remains the long term, as well as the unpredictable nature and intensity of the full-scale war. The NBU puts in the new forecast an assumption of a significant reduction in security risks in mid-2024," said the National Bank, which previously expected such a decrease from the beginning of 2024.
