KYIV, July 2 – Ukraine will receive a $1.5 billion loan from the World Bank under the guarantees of the government of Japan, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said.
"Only the relevant agreement was signed by the World Bank and the Ministry of Finance during our meeting with World Bank Vice President Antonella Bassani," Shmyhal said on Telegram on Thursday.
According to him, the funds are provided for strengthening social protection, helping people during the war and restoring the economy.
