KYIV, July 18 – Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Akihiko Tanaka during a meeting in Kyiv discussed the restoration of Ukraine and public-private partnership projects, the Communications Department of the Cabinet of Ministers Secretariat reported on Tuesday.
Shmyhal thanked the Japanese government for its consistent support, in particular, through the JICA mechanisms. He also expressed gratitude for the implementation of a joint project with Cambodia in the field of humanitarian demining. "We look forward to expanding cooperation in this area, as well as in the field of supporting small and medium-sized businesses," the prime minister said.
