KYIV, July 18 – Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that export to the European Union is a strategic direction for Ukraine.
"Ukraine has been actively developing alternative logistics all this time - through the western border with the EU countries. More than 60% of Ukrainian exports today fall on the European Union, so this direction is strategic for us," Shmyhal said at a government meeting on Tuesday.
In addition, according to him, since the beginning of full-scale Russian aggression, Ukraine has opened two new checkpoints on the border with Romania, as well as a checkpoint on temporary infrastructure on the border with Poland.
