KYIV, July 13 – DTEK Energy is counting on government loans to restore 1.4 GW of thermal generation capacity destroyed at the end of the last autumn-winter period, Ildar Saleev, CEO of the company, said on his Facebook page on Thursday.

"Due to damage from attacks at the end of the last season, 1.4 GW of DTEK's thermal generation capacities were unavailable. At least UAH 7 billion is needed to restore them. In a war, the volumes are colossal, therefore, to cover such a huge amount, we count, first in total, for a loan program from the government," he wrote.
