KYIV, July 13 – The restoration of metallurgical enterprises - Azovstal and Mariupol Illich Iron and Steel Works - and the city of Mariupol (Donetsk region) after the war will be carried out using modern green technologies and will take from three to five years, Yuriy Ryzhenkov, general director of the Metinvest group, said in interview for the FAQ Talks project.
According to him, Metinvest has a vision of the restoration of Mariupol.
"Rinat Akhmetov has already joined the Mariupol Reborn project. We have already allocated funds for the operation of this center, which will allow, firstly, developing a strategy for the development of the city - this is important. We cannot hope that we will come and rebuild Mariupol the way it was. We all understand that there were good things in Mariupol, but there were also things that we would not like to repeat," the CEO said.
