KYIV, July 13 - The consequence of the war for the insurance industry was a sharp drop in market indicators and demand for almost all types of insurance, especially in the segment of individuals, CEO of the Insurance Business association Viacheslav Cherniakhovsky said.
"Priority will be on compulsory types of insurance, bank insurance (mortgage, pledge, against accidents), KASKO car insurance and voluntary medical insurance. In order for the insurance industry to be able to survive the war and resume, and therefore provide insurance protection to Ukrainians, it is necessary introduce systemic solutions at the state level, the internal Marshall Plan in insurance," he said.
