KYIV, July 7 – Scatec is working out the conditions for the implementation of a project to install mobile solar power plants in Ukraine along with batteries as part of a memorandum with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), signed in June at the Ukraine Recovery Conference in London (URC2023), Alina Sviderska, country manager of Scatec in Ukraine, said.
"This project is on a feasibility study, that is, a feasibility study that is needed in order to introduce this technology. The company is now communicating with two types of consumers in Ukraine to understand the demand. These are industrial companies, that is, large consumers, and municipal, water utilities, for example, we see that there is a demand, and water utilities also need alternative energy sources," Sviderska said on the sidelines of the Community Energy Security Forum organized by the Energy Club on Tuesday.
