KYIV, July 7 – The U.S. government is ready to support Ukraine in the development of the insurance market, as war risk insurance plays a critical role in unblocking the flow of private investment needed to support the Ukrainian economy during the war, the website of the Ukrainian Ministry of Economy reported on Friday.

As the ministry clarified, this was discussed during an online meeting on war risk insurance in Ukraine with the participation of First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko and U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo.
