KYIV, July 6 – Ministers of Energy of Ukraine and Bulgaria Herman Haluschenko and Rumen Radev signed a memorandum on expanding cooperation in the energy sector, which, in particular, provides for deepening cooperation between states in the areas of the nuclear fuel cycle and extending the operational life of nuclear power units.
"According to the memorandum, the parties will intensify the provision of expert and engineering services and solutions in the field of nuclear energy through independent expertise in the assessment of the safety of nuclear facilities and the exchange of experts, providing access to infrastructure and through participation in joint projects and initiatives that provide for joint activities in the field of nuclear energy," the Ministry of Energy reported on its Telegram channel on Thursday.
