KYIV, July 5 – The Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA) has raised its estimate of the potential harvest in 2023 by 1 million tons to 69 million tons of grains and oilseeds, which is 6.5% less than in 2022 (73.8 million tons), the UGA press service reported.
"The smaller volume of the future harvest compared to previous seasons is due to the occupation of part of the territory of Ukraine, mining, warfare and the lack of funds and other resources for farmers for a full-fledged sowing campaign and growing crops," the report says.
