KYIV, June 30 – To find new reserves for increasing the export of Ukrainian agricultural products, Ukraine will have to develop the Bystre mouth, the Ukrainian canal to the Black Sea, which will increase exports across the Danube River by 1 million tons in addition to the existing 2.2-2.2 million tons per month, Deputy Minister of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development Yuriy Vaskov has said.
"Such an infrastructural decision will not have any negative consequences. This is extremely positive for all countries through which the Danube River flows," the deputy minister said at a meeting of the grain club of the Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA) on Friday.
