KYIV, June 27 – According to the results of the spring sowing season-2023 in Ukraine, farmers increased the area sown with grain crops, in particular corn, and reduced the area with oilseeds, in particular, sunflower, and would be able to get 61.4 million tons of the gross harvest of these crops, according to the website of the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club (UCAB) on Tuesday.
At the same time, such changes are recorded in comparison with the previous UCAB forecast, but not with the previous year. Also, yield expectations for winter crops were revised upwards in the forecast.
